Resource Centre - Upgrade  

We have made it to the end of Term 4 and the school year! 

We are thrilled with our newly completed space in the Resource Centre. With its  innovative open plan, and plenty of natural light, it offers a fresh, new study space for students. The final stage of the renovation in the main Resource Centre area has begun and we look forward to seeing the completed Centre in the New Year!  This amazing space has been designed, planned and brought to life by Mr Bruce Wolstenholme. His hard work is greatly appreciated and we are very fortunate to have him here at Blackburn High School.

The IT department, Careers and Pathway, and Resource Centre offices are now completed and being enjoyed by staff and students. They also provide private study, classroom gatherings, meeting rooms, and assistance to our school community in many ways. 

The first event in the new area was to welcome the new VM (Vocational Major) students for 2025 in their step-up class week.  The SWL - School to Work Learning support team came in to show our new VM students how to register and navigate the SWL website to search and investigate potential job opportunities and experiences for 2025.
