Rotary Public Speaking Competition

Congratulations to Luke O of 6HB who last week attended the Rowville / Lysterfield Rotary Club meeting to present his winning speech and receive the engraved shield and personal trophy.

We look forward to seeing Luke compete in the next level of the Rotary Public Speaking Competition.

The best part of living on Earth

Have you ever thought of what the best part of living on earth is? Well I have and I know exactly what the best part of living on earth is. It’s quite simple really but it’s hard to see if you're not looking.  

Some people think sport is the best, because you can run, jump and climb, others think art because you can paint, draw and glue. Some think music, because you can play and listen to it but some others think the scenery, because of the sunset, the trees and the ocean. Others think books, because they take you away to far away places that you can’t go in the real world. Some people think Dreams, because you can be a sports star, an astronaut, and so much more but, I know that the best part of living on earth is spending time with the people you love, sharing memories with them, talking to them and learn with them. Anything, anytime, anywhere because they care for you, love you and they wouldn’t change the world for you because they love you and you love them. 

I’ve always asked myself questions such as what is my purpose is in life what's the point of living if you going to die and my answer to all of these has been the same. It’s the same answer as this: Spend as much time with the people you love, share memories with them, have fun with them and learn with them because, nothing lasts forever. That's the best part of living on earth.
