Visual Arts

Foundation students took inspiration for the book, Arlo Needs Glasses, and painting dogs with glasses.

 Year 2 students created gorgeous floral photo holders from clay.

Year 5 students have been creating underwater artwork.

Artists of the Month

Congratulations to the Artist of the Month for September - Noor (2H) and Hetav (5S). Noor received the award for her van Gogh inspired sunflowers, and Hetav for his underwater turtle painted with ink. 

Performing Arts

Year 2 students have been learning the treble clef note names and developing their own mnemonic devices to remember them.

Year 3 and 4 students have continued their musical journey around the world, looking at the music of Ireland. Students participated in Irish dances and listened to traditional Irish instruments such as the Bodhran and Uilleann pipes. They made their own version of pipes and explored the science behind the instrument.
