Prep Writing

Students in Prep have been working hard on developing their own fairytales. Using the rhyming families to help guide their writing, students developed a plan and illustrations before putting together their own published writing pieces. This writing signifies a huge developmental leap in our Prep students, moving from matching letters to sounds, letters to words and word to sentences.  All while having to developing pressure, sizing and formation in handwriting, structure and vocabulary and even more impressively including punctuation.

We are very proud of how much our littlest learners are learning and how far they have come already in just 10 months. Well done Preps. We look forward to reading more of your wonderful texts in the future.
