Library News

Wow, Wow, Wow, what a wonderful Book Fair we have just had.

I am blown away by the support our Book Fair has received.

A big thank you to everyone who made a purchase big or small.

Once again it has been a great success.

Thanks to your purchases, $8,458 worth, I will be choosing $2,960 worth of books from the Book Fair. These will be added to our school library for all the children to borrow and read. I am looking forward to them being processed and available for everyone. One purchase from the book fair gives your child many more books to read.

End of Term 3

What a fun time we have had in the library this term but all good things must come to an end. It is time for all library books to be returned to the library for the end of term. Could this please be done during the children’s library lesson next week or before if the children are finished reading their books?

Next term should see lots of new books coming into the library from our Book Fair. One of our new book borrowing rules is that the children must have their library bags with them to borrow these new books. I have noticed this term a lot of children have been forgetting to bring their library bags to library or they don't actually have one. Could we please make sure all children have their waterproof library bags when borrowing and that books are cared for when they are at home, accidents happen but prevention is still best. Library bags can be purchased through the school office.

Thank you, Yolanda McVilly
