From the Principal

Term 3 is almost at an end, and we currently have Year 11 completing formal exams. It is important that every student prepares well for the exams, engaging in study and revision, and bringing correct equipment, so that they are able to perform at their best.

Year 12 will complete their formal schooling at the end of this term, and continue to prepare for the HSC exams that commence in term 4. We look forward to celebrating their achievements at the Graduation and Formal in the last week of this term.

In the lead up to HSC exams, we have had NESA marking teams on site this term to assess practical performances for Music and Drama, and major projects for Industrial Technology – Timber and Design and Technology. As in previous years, the standard of performances and projects continues to be extremely high.

In week 8 of this term, we hosted a visit from the Executive Director of Regional South Public Schools, Kathy Powzun. The visit also coincided with the announcement of our new school captains for 2025 and Kathy was able to speak to our new leaders about the responsibilities of leadership.

Congratulations to Claire, Joshua, Joshua and Paige. I am looking forward to working with them over the next year.
