Finding Nemo Jr. - A Spectacular Underwater Adventure

Excitement is bubbling over at DCS Primary as our students prepare to dive into the spotlight with their upcoming production of Finding Nemo Jr. – and it’s shaping up to be absolutely spectacular!

Over the past weeks, every student involved has poured their heart into rehearsals, working tirelessly to memorise lines, master songs, and perfect their stage positions. The energy and enthusiasm have been contagious, and it’s been a joy to watch everything come together.

Last week and this week have been especially thrilling as the pieces of the puzzle have clicked into place. The sets are nothing short of incredible – vibrant, imaginative, and truly transportive. Costumes are phenomenal, bringing each character to life with colour and creativity. And the makeup? It adds another layer of amazingness that elevates the entire production.

Props have also played a starring role, helping to create the magical underwater world that audiences will soon experience. Every detail has been thoughtfully crafted, and the result is a show that promises to delight and inspire.

We ask our school community to please keep all involved – students, staff, and volunteers – in your prayers as we head into showtime. Their dedication and teamwork have been extraordinary, and we’re so proud of what they’ve achieved.

Wetland Warriors Gumboot Donations

Our Wetland Warriors would love your help! If you have some good, used gumboots stashed away that no longer fit your children (and have no holes!) we would love to hear from you!

Our Warriors are in need of some gumboots of suitable sizing for 7-9 year old children.
