Term 3 in the art room...
Students in prep drew polar bears, and painted their background with food dye and salt. After they brushed on the food dye, they sprinkled salt over it. They discovered the salt absorbed the water, which left interesting patterns. Students in grades 1 and 2 drew bears in winter sweaters, with a focus on line and pattern.
Students in grades 3 and 4 have been busy sewing toadstools, and creating perspective drawings through their 'story in a box'.
