Principal's Report 

We, at Miners Rest Primary School, would like to acknowledge the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin Nation.

We pay our respects and thank the Wadawurrung people.

May we share your land. We promise to look after it, as well as the animals and people too.

Coffee Morning

We are excited about opening our staffroom Friday morning at 9:00 am for our families to enjoy each others company and have a cuppa in the staffroom.

Everyone is very welcome and we look forward to seeing lots of families take advantage of a warm space to gather. Bring a friend and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee together.

Parking

With the focus being on student safety, I urge all of our families to have a road safety mindset on drop-off and collection of children each day. I thank you for your support on this very important matter.

Parent/Caregiver/Guardian Survey

Just a reminder that our school is conducting the annual Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey and is seeking your feedback. The survey, offered by the Department of Education, is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families' perceptions of school climate, student behaviour, and student engagement.

Your opinions are important to us and will contribute to identifying areas for improvement and professional development needs in the school, to target school planning and improvement strategies. 

The survey will be conducted online and only takes 20 minutes to complete. It can be completed on any internet enabled device (desktop computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone) and is compatible with most browsers.

Please see the email sent from the school email on Tuesday 30 July for details about how to complete the survey.

The Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey will be open online from Tuesday 30 July to Friday 30 August 2024.
