Eastland Competition -
Finding Future Champions
Voting closes at 5pm on July 14th so be sure to cast your vote for RSC and help us win a share of $7000!
Ringwood Swimming Club is one of five lucky sporting organisations taking part in an exciting grassroots sports competition as part of Eastland’s “We Build Champions” campaign, in partnership with the Australian Sports Commission and Australian Institute of Sport this July! We’ll need your support over the next few weeks to bring home a share of $7000 which is up for grabs.
By participating in this competition, we hope to raise awareness around RSC as a local sporting club, boost participation and ignite the spirit of the sport. This competition gives RSC a platform to highlight our talented swimmers and engage with the community.
To participate, RSC had to nominate 1 male and 1 female swimmer who could be future champions. It was a hard decision as there are several swimmers at RSC who we believe have the potential to become future champions and were considered for nomination. Please join us in congratulating Matilda Young and Gordon Chen who were selected to represent RSC at the competition!
The five participating sporting clubs are:
· Croydon Ranges Hockey Club, represented by Jacinta Cove and Louis Potter
· Maroondah Volleyball League, represented by Lucy Hutchings and Lewis Humphris
· Ringwood Hawks Basketball Association, represented by Alexa Yates and Jacob Bugler
· Ringwood Little Athletics Centre, represented by Rudy Ladd and Reece Trewella
· Ringwood Swimming Club, represented by Matilda Young and Gordon Chen
Competition voting will be live from 9am Monday July 1st and closes at 5pm on Sunday July 14th
· A unique QR code will be located at Eastland’s Champions Arena on Level 1 outside the Commonwealth Bank, where you can see all the clubs who are featured
