Book Week

Dear Parents,
We are excited to announce that Book Week is just around the corner! This year, our theme is "Reading is Magic," and we have planned a week of activities for our students in Week 6.
To kick off the week, we invite all students to dress up as their favourite book character on Monday 19th August. There will be a parade at 9am on the oval if the weather is being kind to us. Parents are more than welcome to join us.
On Tuesday, we have a special activity called "Drop Everything and Read." During this time, students will be encouraged to find a cosy spot and enjoy some quiet reading. They are welcome to bring a cushion, blanket, or soft toy to make their reading experience even more enjoyable.
We are also thrilled to announce that a magician will be visiting our school on Thursday 22nd August. Our students will have the opportunity to witness mesmerising tricks and illusions that will surely ignite their imagination and love for reading.
Throughout the week, our teachers will be organising various book-related activities and discussions in the classrooms. We encourage you to engage with your child about the books they are reading and the magic they discover within the pages.
