Specialist's Update

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We hope this newsletter finds you well as we dive into an exciting term filled with numerous activities and achievements.

Firstly, a hearty congratulations to all the students who have qualified for the District Athletics team! These talented athletes will be showcasing their skills at the Casey Fields Athletics Track on the 14th of August. To ensure they are able to perform as well as possible, training sessions have been scheduled on Monday mornings at 8:15 am on the 29th of July, and the 5th and 12th of August. We encourage all participants to attend these sessions and give their best effort in preparation for the big day.

In other sports news, our Grade 6 students have started their training for various sports including AFL, rugby, volleyball, kickball, and basketball. It's wonderful to see the enthusiasm and team work as they practice and refine their skills. We look forward to seeing their hard work pay off in their upcoming competitions.

For our younger students, Prep and Grade 1 Swimming Lessons are coming later in the term. These lessons are scheduled to take place daily from the 16th to the 19th of September. Swimming is a vital life skill and we are pleased to offer this opportunity for our students to build confidence and safety in the water. Detailed information regarding the swimming schedule and what students will need to bring will be provided closer to the start date.

The District Athletics and Grade 6 Interschool Sport Program events are now on compass and will require parents/guardians to give permission to their students to participate and attend.  Should you have any questions or need further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind Regards,
