Always was, always will be

Acknowledgement of Country
We would like to acknowledge the upcoming Guling Orchid Season where the cold weather is coming to an end and guling (orchids) are flowering. A time where the ae-noke (caterpillars) of Common Brown butterfly feed on grasses at night, the muyan (Silver Wattles) are flowering and the bulen-bulen (Superb Lyrebird) males perform the last of their courtship displays.
A reminder to pause, observe and appreciate our beautiful environment, showing us the changing seasons, the wonders of nature and the cycles of life.
We acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woiwurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians, our place as the modern custodians of the place we all call home and the shared history of this place. We would like to pay respects to the Elders, knowledge holders and the educators who share sacred culture, knowledge and truth with us. Ngoon-godjin / thank you.
