Year 11 Art Making and Exhibiting – Unit 1 Final Artwork

Our Year 11 Art students embarked on a folio development journey during Unit 1 where they were set the task of exploring “Movement” as an overarching theme.  Students researched existing artists who showed movement within their artworks across a range of art forms, including drawing, painting, printmaking and photography.

After developing drawings for ideas, exploring subject matter and composition, students embarked on an experimental stage whereby they investigated the way materials and techniques could be applied in order to express the idea of movement.

As a result, students created a range of final artworks incorporating their own ideas and meaning along with the visual expression of movement. In celebration of this, please enjoy viewing the slideshow of student work below.
