Start Up Strings 

Start Up Strings begin individual lessons 

This term, the Year 2 students in Start Up Strings commenced their individual string lessons. During Terms 1 & 2, Start Up Strings had 2 group sessions per week. They learnt a lot about playing together and received encouragement from each other to keep going. From Term 3, they have moved to having one group class per week and one individual lesson per week. They continue to gain the benefits of learning together but now also add the bonus of an individual lesson to work on the things they need to work on at their own pace. 

It has been wonderful to see all the excited, happy faces making their way to their special lessons. 

Here is what some students have said: 

Leo (2N): In the group there are more people to distract me. It’s easy to focus when it’s just me and the teacher.  

Felix (2M): It’s awesome! 

Amie (2N): It’s good because the teacher can focus on one person. Which is me.
