House Captain Award Assembly Speech

Good morning students, staff, and parents of IPS my name is Jude, and my name is Alex. We are here today to announce the week 3 term 3 house captain award. This person has shown all the school values during Italian.

The Week 3 House Captain Award goes to.... Santiago from Year 4. Just remember anyone can get a House Captain Award if you try hard enough.

Thank you.

Year 1 Potato Olympics

Currently,  our students have an olympic theme intertwined with their learning.  Our year 1 students have a keen interest in the medal tally and are using their maths skills to keep account of how Australia are doing.

They are combining, Maths, Science, the Arts and Sport with their very own Potato Olympics.  The athletes are at the moment resting in their Potato Olympic Village, with some very snazzy outfits after the opening ceremony this week.

We can't wait to see which events will be highlighted and how the athletes compete!  Aussie Aussie Aussie!

Year 2 Writing

There was some great excitement this week with unexpected wildlife visitors poking their beaks into the year 2 classrooms.  The students expanded on the unsual events and wrote some fabulously funny creative stories.   Take a look....
