Wellbeing

Hello Tarneit Rise Families,

If you didn’t know already, we are the ‘Wellbeing Team!’ And we are here to help and support you and your children throughout the school year with all things, mental health and wellbeing! Let us introduce ourselves and our roles.

Here is an outline of our roles in depth and how we can help. In collaboration with yourself, community allies, and our amazing educators, we aim to build trust and connection with families, to create a healthy and thriving school life for your kids! If you have any concerns for your child, please reach out to your teacher and they will connect with us if needed. Otherwise, if you see us in the yard, don’t hesitate to come say hello.

We put on our third parents' morning tea just this past Wednesday where we had a special guest speaker & Super mum, Tsion Girma, who shared about her role at Brotherhood of St Laurence (Social injustice organisation) who help families access NDIS. We also had our school captains share about the 'STAND UP' project to bring awareness to bullying and ways we can prevent it in the school and beyond. We aim to create more opportunities for parents to connect with each other and with the school and to continue dreaming about ways to strengthen our community here at TRPS.

Watch this space for more wonderful things happening in our world.

Be well, Stay well.

Sincerely

Tarneit Rise Wellbeing Team
