Grade 1/2 News

In Literacy we have been working on persuasive texts. 

Students have practised their skills by writing a letter to Mrs Boak on the topic of whether recess should be longer or shorter.

In Numeracy we have been revising subtraction strategies and completing lots of practice with these. 

Last Friday Senior Constable Hayley Mcdonald, Youth Resource Officer came to visit 1/2 students. 

The aim of this session was to learn about the role of police officers in the community. Thankyou Hayley for an interesting session.

Thank you to all who were able to attend our Parent-Teacher interviews. 

It was great having the opportunity to discuss how students are progressing and setting goals for Semester 2.
