Faster, Higher, Stronger - TOGETHER

The Olympic Motto was changed in 2021 to add the word 'together' to the original words Faster, Higher, Stronger. The motto emphasises, the only way to run faster, climb higher and grow stronger is to stand together! To work together. For behind each athlete there is a team working together to support and help each individual to do their very best. 

This is true for athletes going to the Olympics as it is for our St Francis de Sales athletes representing our school at Cross Country in recent weeks. This year we have had sensational results with more students than ever before doing their personal best. This year the collective effort of our St Francis de Sales team resulted in second place at the District level. A massive result. We commend them for the way they trained and participated.

More children than ever before went on to Divisional level. This week again at Divisional level we had so many personal bests and we are so proud of each student in our St Francis de Sales team at both District and Divisional level. They individually gave it their all and went faster than ever before. They trained regularly with Lulli our PE teacher and grew stronger. They supported one another and we are so proud of their sportsmanship and team spirit.

At Divisional this week, we have again had more students than ever before qualify for Regional Cross Country. They continue the journey going faster, higher, stronger and together we are behind them every step of the way. We are so delighted at their personal efforts and achievements. Going on to Regionals on the 12 June at Hastings Foreshore, this year we have:

Applications for 2025 are due now.  

Please inform neighbours and friends who will have a child eligible to start school in 2025 to book a tour. We have tours nearly every morning at 9 am. 

Help promote our school and share stories of the great learning and extra curricula opportunities we provide. 

Word of mouth stories about our great school community is the BEST promotion.
