The Year 11 Study Retreat is next week - Monday 24th to Tuesday 24th June. Please ensure your parents/carers pay and provide consent through Compass (CSEF funds can be used). Attendance is compulsory.
The Study Retreat is a great opportunity to reflect on Unit 1, plan to get the most out of your remaining time at high school, and start to think about your world beyond Year 12. Plus, you'll get to know other students in your cohort, and get a taste of independent living on college residence!
Reminder for all VCE students: any absence from a SAC must be supported by a medical certificate, or be an approved sporting absence through the MSA (Academy students only - use the link below).
An unapproved absence will result in the student receiving a score of zero for the SAC. The student will still be expected to complete the SAC when they return to school.
All Unit 3 & 4 students will be undertaking the GAT on Tuesday. The GAT is a two part exam:
Section A: Literacy and Numeracy
9 – 11:15am
All Units 3&4 students required including VM students
Section B: General Knowledge and Skills
1:15 – 3pm
VCE VM not required
Students are permitted to bring the following into the exam:
Students should arrive by 8:30am in order to line up and enter the exam hall. Full school uniform is required. No Year 11 & 12 classes will run on this day.
The Melbourne University - Melbourne School Enrichment Program is offering free revisions lectures Tuesday 2 July - Thursday 4 July for the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Legal Studies, English, Literature, Maths Methods and Specialist Maths.
Eric Kuzu, Year 12 dux 2023, is running tutoring sessions on Tuesdays after school from 3:15pm - 4:15pm. Sit down with Eric to get help with questions and maximise your marks!
Well done to all Unit 1 students for their efforts in exams last week. Your behaviour was exemplary and allowed the whole process to run smoothly. You will get exam results in the coming weeks, as well as on the semester report published at the end of term.
