Around Our School

Year 1/2 Class Pets

In Year 1/2T we have stick insects as our class pets. We have 3 adult males and they are big. The boys can fly but the girls can’t. We also have over 300 eggs waiting to hatch.  Just before the school holidays, Fawn from Year 5/6 found out that 1 egg had hatched. We had our first baby. At Ms Thomas’ house, 5 more hatched. This week another one hatched. We now have 7 babies. They are big enough for us to hold now.
