Anzac Day Ceremony Recap 

At the end of last term the SLC team ran the official Anzac Day commemorative service at school. The event went well, and we would like to extend our congratulations to Rawson in Year 7 for his exceptional bagpipe performance. Special thanks to Mr. Moore's VET Entertainment class for their invaluable support in making the event a success. Following the event, members of the SLC were able to have afternoon tea with our official party which was a rewarding experience for all involved.  

Also, during the school holidays, a group of students attended the Dawn Service in Camden and the community Anzac Day march. It was great to see so many students and staff representing our school on such an important occasion. 

Peer Mentoring Program 

We are excited to announce the continuation of our peer mentoring program this term. This initiative focuses on building strong relationships between student mentors and our Year 7 students. It is a fantastic opportunity for our students to support one another academically and emotionally. 

Student Voice at Camden High School 

Our SLC team recently participated in a brainstorming session to increase student voice at our school. We appreciate the dedication and hard work of James and Mayah of Year 10, and others involved in leading this initiative. Their efforts have been instrumental in shaping a more inclusive and engaging environment for all students at Camden High School.  

World's Greatest Shave Event 

As the end of the term approaches, we are gearing up for the World's Greatest Shave event. Our very own School Captain, Sophia, along with HT Wellbeing Mr. Barrel and DP Ms. Kedward, will be shaving their heads to support this important cause. Camden vs Cowra Sporting Exchange Preparations Underway 

We are thrilled to announce that the Student Leadership Council, with the support of the PE department, has been hard at work preparing for the upcoming Camden vs Cowra Sporting Exchange! Our dedicated students will play a pivotal role in running the BBQ at the football game, managing the canteen during the social, organising promotional material, and participating in a range of other ways.
