TPS House Athletics Day
Last Tuesday marked an exciting day for our school community as the grade 3-6 students eagerly participated in the annual House Athletics Carnival. Leading up to this event, all students worked very hard in their PE classes practicing each event. Well done to all students for showcasing the TPS school values and for giving their best effort on the day. Hinkler was our winning house!

Hunter 4C and Chloe 5A were very proud to represent Toorak Primary at the Division Cross Country. Conditions were perfect, with Melbourne putting on a beautify sunny day for the event. Hunter came 38th and Chloe 42nd from a field of 63 schools. A big congratulations Hunter and Chloe!

Our education support staff last week enjoyed a scumptious morning tea to say thankyou to all the wonderful support they provide to our students and teaching staff.
Open Morning and Maths Night
On Monday May 20th, teachers and students opened their classroom doors for parents and caregivers to see some maths games and teaching in action. After a short information session in the hall from Mrs. Wildermuth, Mrs. Dzaferovic and Mr. Fletcher, families dispersed into classrooms to get a feel for how we learn maths at TPS. We hope it was an enjoyable and insightful experience for all.
On Thursday May 16th, we enjoyed our annual Family Maths Night. It was great to see some familiar faces from last year, as well as many new families attending for the first time. There was lots of excitement and competitive spirit, as the families moved around the school completing the maths challenges! Thank you to everyone who attended and congratulations to the raffle winners!
