Congratulations to our Students of the Week for Weeks Six and Seven.  These will be presented at our Whole School Assembly next Friday at 2:15pm for all students except the 5/6s who will be out.

3/4BVParker HobbsFor his persistence in mathematics lessons this week. Although at times Parker found the fractions work challenging, he showed resilience to keep trying, resulting in some pleasing gains.
5/6DFNoah LordFor the enthusiasm and eagerness he always shows during all learning areas. Noah is always ready to begin a task and works hard to complete it to the best of his ability. Well done, Noah! 
5/6TRyan UchFor his humble contributions to our class.  Ryan is the quiet achiever in our class, who quietly gets things done in the background.  From completing his work to putting all the stools up at the end of the day, he can always be relied upon.  He is a role model for being responsible.
SportSophie BeddoesFor her participation in our school cross country then her success at the district cross country, coming third in the eleven girls event, the highest placed St Joseph’s student on the day.  Excellent effort Sophie!
STEAMMaggie HoareMaggie has been amazing in our art class, always giving her best effort with lots of dedication and enthusiasm. She created a stunning self-portrait that really shows off her growing skills and creativity. Maggie's hard work and positive attitude are super inspiring to everyone. Well done, Maggie!
Japanese Archer Joyce For always curious and enthusiastic in Japanese class! Archer told us that he used the Ninja’s breathing techniques to calm himself to do other sports. Good job, Archer!

1/2SBrooklyn Sneddon WOW!  You are doing so well with all your learning Brooklyn.  I am so proud of how you speak so clearly when you join in so keenly with class work.  It is also lovely to see you enjoy the books in the classroom and during Library time.  Great work you SUPERSTAR!
3/4BVOliver DarvenizaFor his focus and determination to write the best complex sentences he can about Kensuke's Kingdom. Well done, Oliver!
5/6DFEli BeddoesFor the reverence and respect he showed when being commissioned as a Fire Carrier during our special assembly on Monday. Well done Eli, and congratulations!
5/6TDylan McDowellFor his generous and willing attitude to help out and show leadership.  Dylan is often thinking of jobs that need to be done and stepping up to help with them.  He is reliable and responsible.  Thanks for being such a positive member of our class.
SportJordan FitzpatrickFor his attitude to the new games this week from the Yulunga Indigenous games, encouraging and complimenting others performing well.  He tried his best in each game, showing skills of throwing, evading and tagging.  Excellent effort Jordan!
STEAMBlake Lever Blake has shown excellent knowledge during STEAM, impressing everyone with his understanding of weather and seasons. He has a great grasp of how to measure rainfall with our rain gauges and knows all about how the Earth spins around the sun. Blake's curiosity and enthusiasm make learning fun for everyone. Awesome job, Blake!
