Welcome back Ms Durrant!

Looking fresh and raring to go, Ms Durrant is back in our Senior classes.  But, happily, we are not saying goodbye to Ms Urquhart, who will be seen regularly at St Joseph's as a casual relief teacher.

Reconciliation Week

Our Year 6 students were initiated as Fire Carriers on Monday and we enjoyed doing some art work and learning the family stories of Mrs Asbury's sister, Jenny.  We also learned about influential indigenous Australians such as William Barak, Truganini and Bennelong.

Museums in Motion

Students have been working very hard to make some quite impressive-looking dioramas.  We are planning a 'showcase' event for Tuesday Week 23rd directly after school until 4 pm so that parents have the opportunity to see our work. We will create a living museum with our dioramas on display and students dressed up in the character of a chosen historical figure.   Save the date!
