Japanese

Kaori Bawden

It is National Reconciliation Week, students have been introduced to the traditional aboriginal dreamtime story, the Rainbow Serpent. Students learned some related words in Japanese and they revised some colours, and created these beautiful serpents using aboriginal dot paintings. We haven't had time to ma the background of these serpents however we will finish by drawing using Kanji for mountains and rivers and some aboriginal art symbols.

Last week in Japanese classes, students drew pictures using Japanese direction words and made some Shriken, "Ninja stars". They have great movement and pose for our future Ninja. That's all from the Japanese class! Have a lovely weekend!
