Girls football
On Friday the 24th of May, our SAPSASA Girls football team went to Argana Park to represent our school. We Played 6 games and we won 5 of them but lost to Burton by 1 point after the siren, making us second place.
Many girls had never played football before and they did a good job learning and doing their part. At times we were struggling but the girls showed amazing sportsmanship and resilience. Even though we didn’t get the plaque, all of the girls loved it and said it was an amazing experience.
Thank you to Mr Smith for being an amazing coach for our team by training us and looking after us on the day. Another thanks to Renee who was a parent volunteer, who came with us to help out. Thank you to many of the girls’ families who came over to watch us play and support us.

Boys netball
It was a warm, sunny Friday morning in week 4 of term 2. It was the day of the SAPSASA boys netball at Argana Park.
We were excited for our day of fun and fitness. We arrived at school with smiles on our faces. We grabbed our SAPSASA shirts with eagerness and got ready to hop in the cars to go to Argana Park for a beautiful netball day. We were all so excited to play netball and enjoy the day with all our friends. We played our first game and it was a 4-all tie. Then we played our second game and that was sadly a loss, but luckily the third game was a win and the fourth game was a win.
Finally, the part we’ve all been waiting for… the announcements! The announcers asked for everyone to be quiet so they could do the announcements. Greenwith were in Division A and we came 2nd. Great job Greenwith!
We would like to thank our teammates, our opposition, the parent volunteers, Miss Brianna, Miss Howie, the umpires, the people who help to organise it and SAPSASA.
