A Great Way to Start the Year

Welcome Fest24 said all of this and more and what a way for FOD to kick off the school year. Really, it's a great big village fete, with inflatables, food, games, music and ...  well see for yourself in this short video:

Once again, we were blessed with sunny skies, happy faces, lots of activities and treats, willing volunteers and so much fun! It was wonderful to see children of all ages, parents, teachers and staff all coming together to this one event to enjoy time together in community, almost 1700 people in total.

There were a few new attractions this year. Welcome Fest was one of the first carnivals in Melbourne to feature the 43-metre Maze Runner and it was epic! The netball games hosted by Ignite Netball Club got everyone involved, but the Dads Vs Teenagers netball match was a highlight.
