P&F News

Well, that’s a wrap for another term.
During Term 2, the P&F Committee were pleased to present three new picnic tables to the Nature Play area that vary in size to cater for all ages.
We had much joy of providing delicious bacon and egg sandwiches for our mums for Mother’s Day. We would like to say a huge thank you to our many dads that gave us their time to cook up a storm and serve the special ladies in our small school community.
We had a Krispy Crème donut fundraiser as our Mother’s Day gifts this year, which was a hit and we hope you all enjoyed your yummy donuts.
The Committee was also very privileged to be invited to a National P&C Day morning tea by the honourable Dr Tony Buti. This was held on Friday 24th May at Groveland’s Primary School. At the event, our members mingled with P&C Committee members from many other schools around our area. We are grateful for this small gesture of appreciation for all the time and efforts we volunteer to help provide for our school.
We finished the term off with a scrumptious pizza lunch on the last day of term to warm the bellies on this cold winters day.
The committee are seeking new members and volunteers to help out with our further events and fundraising activities. If you have a few hours each month on a Wednesday morning, we extend our welcome to you all to join us at our next Meeting on Wednesday 31st July at 8.40am.
Enjoy your mid-year break, stay warm and safe and we look forward to seeing you all again refreshed for another busy term next term.
