Learning in Foundation K

What a term we are having in Foundation K! So much learning happening each day.

We decided we would share with you what we have been learning in Maths. The last few weeks has been all about Data. We know that Data is when you collect information about something in our world. We discovered new and interesting things about each other. We created lots of yes/no questions and then discovered things we liked and didnt like.

We also asked ‘Who has cereal for breakfast’? Here is a picture graph showing the results.  We discovered 13 friends had cereal for breakfast and 7 didn't. Collecting Data is a fun way to find things out..

PENTECOST

This week we have learnt about a special story that tells us about God's Holy Spirit. It tells us that, like the wind, we cannot see God's Spirit but we know God is everywhere.

After Jesus died, the disciples were waiting for the special helper that Jesus had promised to send them. One day, they heard a strong wind inside the house. Flames of fire rested above the heads of everyone who was there and they felt very different. They knew that the special helper had come. It was the Holy Spirit.

We are working hard to show the Holy Spirit is in each of us and would like to share our thoughts about how the Holy Spirit is working in each of us..
