St Simon Swimming Squad District Result - 2nd Overall
What an amazing outcome for our students and St Simon at the Wantirna District Swimming Carnival
Overall our school was Runners Up in the Wantirna District points, a back to back performance from last year. It was great to see many of our students coming either first, second or third in the A and B swimming events.
A great start to interschool sport for St Simon and wish our advancing competitors much success at the Division Championships on Monday 17th March!
Our stand out performances are listed below:
St Simon the Apostle
House Twilight Sports Carnival
Our St Simon House Twilight Sports Carnival is coming up! We look forward to a great ‘buzz’ and atmosphere on Thursday 27th March. This great carnival full of activities will be from 2:30pm to 5:00pm. It will involve all students from Prep to Year 6 who will be participating in a range of fun sport carnival races to earn points for their House and to ultimately be House Champions for 2025.
If undesirable weather conditions are expected during the event, an announcement to the school community will be made the day before regarding a postponement to the event
This will take place on the oval of the school. We invite all parents to come to this event to cheer on their child/ren.
All students will dress up in their House colours for the event to get in the spirit of the carnival.
Below you can read an outline of the event the students will be competing in for their House Colour.
SSV Interschool Sport News & Key dates 2025
It is with great pleasure that I have been given the opportunity to step into the Sporting School Victoria District Coordinator position for 2025 for both the Wantirna and Scoresby Districts. My hope is to ensure all students competing in SSV events enjoy the experience and display their passion for sport. I wish all students come away from events proud of their achievements and effort and happy they “gave it a go”!
