FAIR

Friday 21st March 2025

Keep an eye out in this space for more exciting news regarding the 2025 Chilwell Fair!

Last Tuesday your eldest child brought home an envelope filled with important information.

  1. 10 Flyers advertising the Fair that we ask you to distribute to family, friends, and neighbours
  2. Information on how you can support in the lead up to the Fair and an important ‘checklist’ to put on the fridge at home
  3. Raffle tickets to purchase or sell to family and friends and return to the office prior to the Fair to ensure you are in the running to win an amazing Hamper!
  4. Recognition of our sponsors

Please read over this information and we look forward to a wonderful evening on the 21st of March.

More flyers are available from the office and will also be attached to future socials posts and Compass communications.

Thank you to the Grade 6 Fundraising Committee for the work they have put in preparing this information for families and promoting the Fair down Pakington St.

Don’t forget to sign up to volunteer on the evening of the Fair.  Most early time slots are now full and we look forward to parents signing up for shifts at later times throughout the fair.

Be sure to follow us on the Socials – Thanks to our parents who are having a wow of a time promoting our sponsors, activities, and food etc. for the night.

Kind regards,

Meg

If volunteer slots are full for particular stalls we ask parents to sign up for another stall.

We will require a couple of parents to assist staff with supervision of the GHANDA Fair Rides.  Last year it was brought to our attention that some individuals were pushing in and taking opportunities away from others.  We need to eliminate this in order to be fair for all.

What can you do to support the 2025 Chilwell Fair when information is presented in the coming weeks:-

  1. Sign up to volunteer
  2. Support the fundraising efforts by donating items for specific Hampers across each year level.
  3. Donate a block of chocolate for lob-o-choc.
  4. Bake a treat for our Bake Stall. Packs, labels and ties were sent home with eldest child in the family late last week.  If you would like to do extra baking, you can collect more packs from the Office.
  5. Be sure to follow Chilwell on Instagram and Facebook for all key information and promotions.
  6. Contact families and friends and be sure to invite them along to the event.
