IPS Italian

A peek into the Italian room

This term, in the younger years Italian classroom, we have been travelling around Italy. We have been learning about the main tourist attractions such as Mount Vesuvius in Pompeii, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Colloseum and Venice. Through our journey we have been improving our knowledge of numbers and colours and this week we put our colour knowledge to the test by creating cohort murals for the Italian room.

Signor Mckay explaining the classroom mural to students in 2A

We love to welcome our classroom puppet – Pinnochio! He loves to come out and say “Ciao” to the students and he helps give out our certificate for Italian star of the week.

Here Pinnochio is giving Elsie from 2A a high five after receiving her certificate.
