Easter Raffle

On their own initiative the SRC (Student Representative Council) will be running an Easter raffle. A school family have kindly donated a giant Yarra Valley Chocolaterie Hand Painted Easter Bunny. He is just beautiful and weighs 3kg! The SRC students will be selling tickets this week with the winner drawn at the final assembly of the term, next Friday.

Tickets are $1 each with a maximum purchase per student of $5.

SRC have decided that half of the money raised will be donated to the RCH Good Friday Appeal and the remainder will be used at school to fund a project of the SRC's choice.

School photos

Save the date: Thursday 8th May

Leading Image School Photos will be visiting Parkdale Primary on Thursday 8 May to take our individual student and Grade photos. Leading Image is a group of local independent photographers operating under the one name to provide a professional and complete school photographic service. There will be a range of different packages you can select from, full details about how to order online with your unique family code, will be sent home a couple of weeks prior to the date.

Smile Squad is back - you will need to complete a new consent form for 2025

The Smile Squad team from Better Health Network Parkdale are coming back to our school in Term 2.

Smile Squad is the Victorian Government free school dental program.

This means all students can get a free dental check-up at school.

How to access free dental care

We need your consent before we can provide services. Consent is usually provided by a parent or guardian.

Pupil Free Dates for 2025

Each year government schools are provided with four student-free days for professional development, school planning and administration, curriculum development, and student assessment and reporting purposes. Our dates for 2025 have now been confirmed and are:

Monday 3 November
Friday 5 December
