Kana Procession

This Saturday 15th March, our Year 1 students (this is optional) will participate in the 2025 Colac Kana Procession which will take place at the Colac Showgrounds. The theme for Kana 2025 is “A Country Fair”.

The Year 1 students can come along in any farm of country fair inspired costumes. Students are reminded that we are a “walking” entry and therefore students will need to wear suitable footwear. A hat or cap will be essential for sun protection and application of sunscreen before arrival would also be helpful. Students will also need a drink bottle.

All Kana procession entries will meet at Clark Street. At this stage the school does not know what number ‘float’ we are, or what time we are to gather prior to the 1.00pm parade, but we will inform all Year 1 parents who are participating when we receive the information to where you drop your child off. Pick up after the parade has concluded will be from the Horse Pavillion.

We do need Year 1 parents to walk with the students, so please indicate on PAM if you can help out.
