We are thrilled to share some wonderful news about our 2025 Student Ambassador program. This year, we received an impressive number of applications from our talented students, each showcasing their dedication and enthusiasm for representing Lockleys North Primary School.
The applications were exceptionally well-written, with students providing excellent examples of how they embody our school values and learner qualities. They also highlighted their commitment to supporting their peers and contributing positively to our school community.
After careful consideration, we have selected two representatives from each class. We are excited to announce that the ambassadors from Reception to Year 6 will be officially introduced at the Whole School Assembly in Week 7. We invite all parents and caregivers to join us in celebrating these young leaders and their achievements.
CE Student Forum Term 1 2025 - Launching the Area of Impact action cards and next steps
We have been invited to participate in the CE student forum for Term 1. Historically, LNPS has had a significant involvement in these forums and contributed to much of the learner agency work available now on Edi.
Our learners last year played a crucial role in the development of the Student Areas of Impact Action cards. During this discussion, they will be launching the areas of impact action cards and celebrating the students who created them.
This will be followed by discussions and activities to help our students plan how the cards could be used in 2025, including supporting the area of impact focus at your school.
The students involved in this will be selected from our Student Ambassador te
Additionally, we are kick-starting the year with the "Aussie of the Month" for Term 1, where staff will be recognising students who exemplify our school values of Pursuit of Excellence, Care and Concern, Respect, and Honesty. The February Aussie of the Month for Mellor, Torrens, and Fisher will be announced at the next Whole School Assembly on Friday, 14th March 2025. Mellor and Rowell will rotate each month for Early Years award recipients.
We are excited to announce the launch of our Active Lunch program, designed to promote physical activity and well-being among our students. The program will take place in the gym during lunch time.
We encourage all students to participate and enjoy a variety of engaging activities. Let's make lunchtime active and fun!
