Cricket Victoria Clinics
Selamat Siang Semuanya,
Students from all year levels have had a brilliant week learning everything cricket with Michelle from Cricket Victoria. The clinics are running for 2 weeks with a focus on bowling in Week 1 and batting/fielding in Week 2. The students will learn specific skills, as well as participate in fun and inclusive games relating to cricket. Michelle has been very impressed with our students in the first week saying how quickly our students have develop bowling skills and how respectful they are been.
If you would like to explore cricket in the community please contact me and I can provide you with details to your local cricket club.
Shae Graham Presentation - World Champion Paralympian
The senior school students were treated to a presentation by Shae Graham. Shae shared her journey to world champion and exposed students to the sport of wheelchair rugby. It is not often we are in the presence of an elite Australian athlete, and I know this opportunity was inspiring and motivating to all students and staff. Shae's message is 'to be your best with what you have got'. I too would like to spread this message to all our students and community, as well as to strive to be YOUR best in everything you do.
Coming up this term in PE:
- Week 6 - Cricket Victoria Clinics for all year levels
