Maths Challenge
Earlier this year, students from the Year 3 and 4 Community, and the Year 5 and 6 Community participated in the 2022 Maths Challenge. This is a problem-solving activity organised by the Australian Maths Trust (AMT), which is aimed at stimulating student interest in Mathematics. Students received a problem book containing four problems. They then were required to present written solutions to as many of these problems as they could. The problems were challenging and required time and persistence but are based on maths that should be known at that level.
Over four weeks, the students worked together to solve the problems collaboratively. They showed great perseverance over the course of the challenge and attempted all the problems. We would like to congratulate the following students for their efforts:
- Benjamin Delovski - Certificate Of Credit
- Luke Waterworth - Certificate Of Distinction
- Jackson Caguioa - Certificate Of Credit
- Luke Costa-Scillieri - Certificate Of Participation
- Michael Fisher - Certificate Of Credit
- Keagan Vong - Certificate Of Credit
- Austin Ma - Certificate Of Proficiency
- Jennifer Vuong - Certificate Of Proficiency
They will be receiving certificates in the next few weeks.
