Celebration of

Learning

Mitch Tambo was in the house!!!

After a bit of a wait, we were lucky enough to have Mitch Tambo visit our school on Monday to share some of his music and culture with our students, Mitch Tambo is a proud First Nations man from Gamilaraay country. He wowed us with his incredible music, impressive digeridoo playing and fascinated us with stories from his culture and about traditional and contemporary Aboriginal life.

What an amazing experience our students were treated to. They danced along to his rap songs, joined in, singing in traditional Gamilaraay language to contemporary music. We left the hall with students pleading ‘Can we get him to come again!’. We would like to thank Mitch for sharing with us and treating us to a great performance.

Ducklings have arrived!!

Our Junior playground has been home to nesting duck for sometime now and from Tuesday the ducklings have finally hatched.

Foundation Fun

We have been comparing the capacity of containers. Sooo much fun!

Technology and Design

We met the challenge of designing and building something to get the gingerbread man across the river!

We have been designing bridges for the big Billy goat to use to escape the troll!

How clever are we?
