Mr G's Goss

MR G’S HIGHLIGHTS! WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING AT SPS?

It has been another fantastic couple of weeks at Somerville Primary School. This past Monday we had Mitch Tambo come out and perform for all of our students. The kids had a wonderful time and it was a great experience for all involved and I would like to say a special thank you to Mrs Antoniou for organising the Incursion.

Tomorrow afternoon we have Mrs Harvey’s special farewell assembly. We will all be very sad to see Mrs Harvey leaving SPS and look forward to celebrating all she has done for our school over the past 4 years.

We still have a huge amount of events to look forward to this term such as the Senior School Market,  Foundation & Middle School LegoLand excursion,  Foundation, Year 1 & Year 2 Swimming, our beloved Somerville Primary School Christmas Concert and of course Year 6 Graduation.

Congratulations to the students who represented our school at Regional Athletics we are all very proud of your achievements Jack, Alisha & Milla.

Finally, I would like to remind everyone that Monday 31st October is a student free day and hope that all of our students thoroughly enjoy their 4-day weekend.

HATS

Just a reminder that all students need to be wearing a sun smart hat each and every day this term. Thank you for your continued support with this.

READING NIGHTS

Congratulations to all of the students that have reached reading nights milestones throughout Term 4. I look forward to celebrating our reading nights party on Wednesday 7th of December. Students will need to have reached the 200 night milestone by this date to attend the celebration.

ASSEMBLY AWARDS

Congratulations to all of our Somerville Star Award winners at our last assembly. You have all done a sensational job and set a wonderful example for your classmates.
