Hi Parents and Carers,
“Flood waters have been devastating large regions of our nation and state. If you’re like me you may be relieved some areas are unaffected but also wonder “What could I do to help???”. There are many organisations supporting people in need and one of those is Foodbank.
In their latest hunger report 2022 it states 21%(over 2 000 000) households in Australia have experienced severe food insecurity.(skipping meals, going whole days without food due to lack of finance) In a nation like Australia many may find this surprising.
$1 donated to Foodbank is 2 meals created. Every 2 days they feed an MCG of people with food.
