To the champions in our school we thank you! Happy World Teachers Day to the amazing teachers here at Monash SDS. Despite another challenging year, our teachers have provided a positive, caring environment for our students to thrive in and I am sure you will join me in thanking them for their hard work and dedication. Thank you to our families for the truly kind messages that were sent in from you this week for our teachers. They were pride of place in the staff room. Thank you again, also, for the amazing treats that you sent in, and to our parent group, you are amazing.

Capital Works

Up it goes! As you can see our building is starting to take shape. It will not be long until the roof is on. Despite the continued inclement weather our builders are surging ahead.

Communication

I am hoping that the ability to direct message to your child’s teacher through SeeSaw has improved communication. We are still working through a few issues, and we have had some feedback from some parents. As this is the first year, we have implemented this communication policy, we will be reviewing it this term. Please email me any feedback you may have to support us with this process. This is the most productive way to influence positive change.
