Book Club Morning Tea

On Thursday morning we celebrated our annual Book Club Morning Tea where regular Book Club members from Years 8-12 received their 2022 participation badge from Mr O’Neill. This ‘pastry fest’ serves as a well-deserved celebration for students who have visited the Library fortnightly to discuss all things books, reading and beyond. 

Graduating Year 12 student Eamonn Murray gave a short speech for the occasion where he discussed his memories of Book Club over the years, including his fondness for the obligatory Arnott’s assorted biscuit box and how Book Club in Year 12 was a welcome distraction from the stresses of Senior school life.

It was a pleasure to welcome Eamonn back for the occasion, alongside fellow Year 12s Myles Brown and Jimmy Cridland.
