Senior School

Milestones are important in life, and for many of our students this past week has been characterised by important milestones in their school-lives.

Our Year 7 and 8 students have begun their Final Examinations this week, and it is worth noting that for our Year 7 students these will be the first formal exams they have done in the Senior School. While School-life consists of much more than exams, they remain an important part of our assessment program and we wish all students the very best as they study and prepare.

In the past week our Year 11s have taken part in their long-awaited (carried over from the 2021 lockdown) Year 11 Camp, participating in horse riding, scuba diving, hiking, canyoning and rock climbing. Additionally, we celebrated the end of Year 11 with a Year 11 Formal on Monday night, at which our students enjoyed each other’s company and danced the night away. Finally, this week our Year 11 students have formally become Year 12, as they have begun their HSC coursework this week.

For our oldest students, in Year 12 (2022) this has been a particularly momentous week, as the majority have now finished their final HSC Examinations and signed out of school for the final time.

As we reach the final weeks of the School year, we look forward to celebrating many more milestones together.
