From the Acting Headmaster

Well, the news is out - thankfully! I want to acknowledge the generosity shown by our community on my appointment as the next Principal of Blue Mountains Grammar School. 

Stepping into this role is not a responsibility I take lightly, and I do not believe anyone has a birth-rite to a leadership position. So the opportunity to lead a team of high-calibre people who do their best to grow possibility in our young people is the very definition of privilege. I am fully aware of the trust the Board, staff and families have put in me. Thank you! 

I want to be clear - I will make mistakes, and they are not deliberate. But I hope that in partnership with you, our children will admire us as adults for being able to look forward with and for them, to help define what they need to learn to be confident, contributing and influential global citizens.

The next ten years in education have yet to be discovered. It is clear that when there is a partnered approach to a young person’s learning, the benefits for them are much more predictable in the positive. 

I am looking forward to those positives with you.
