Clean Up Australia Day 2018
On Thursday, our Year 9 Advance class participated in Clean Up Australia Day for their community service for the Dukes Award. Our goal to clean up the Errington Reserve Children’s playground and oval was successfully achieved by the enthusiastic and highly motivated students. We collected hundreds of cigarette butts and plastic material and enjoyed working as a team to tackle the St Albans waste problem. Interestingly, a significant proportion of the waste collected was recyclable. Special thanks to Laboratory Technician, Mr Tim Clay for his support and leadership on the excursion. Congratulations on a job well done!
