Design Technology: Year 8 Woodwork is a-mouse-zing!

Students have been working hard on their set class projects. As a further challenge, they firstly watched a popular woodworker who created a mouse maze and its interesting and amusing results. Students were given advice, a sample maze and they were asked to consider what made a good design. Afterwards, they designed their own mouse maze. They voted for the two best designs in their class - congratulations to 8E students Ha Pham and Tam Trinh and 8J students Anthony Tran and Sarah Vo. Those students in their separate classes collaborated by drawing up a maze template from their designs that combined their best features. Students are now constructing it, aided by their classmates.  Later, we will test the different models to determine which class has the best. Let the mice decide!
