Principal’s Message

It was pleasing to see such strong attendance at our parent-student-teacher interviews a few weeks ago. The partnership between parents and teachers to support our students’ learning is crucial, and it was very encouraging to witness so many positive and productive discussions taking place throughout the day. Unfortunately, due to the higher than usual attendance rates at this event, I understand that some parents could not book times with a few teachers. If this was the case, please contact the office to arrange for those teachers to contact you at your convenience.

Since the parent-teacher-student interviews, all parents and carers should have received further feedback via our most recent round of student reports, which have been available via XUNO since May 14. As you are probably aware, we now provide reports three times per semester, with this most recent round of reports being the 2nd round for Semester 1. The next round of reports to be issued at the end of this term, will be the end-of-semester reports, which will be more detailed reports including mentor comments. Please contact our General Office if you experience any difficulties accessing your child’s report via XUNO.

As you are aware on Wednesday all staff participated in the final module in Berry Street Education Model. This  important professional development day was our 3rd (and second last) “pupil-free” day for the year.

School Fee/Excursion Payments Made Directly to the College Bank Account

I would like to remind parents making payments directly into the college’s bank account to ensure that they either have their name or Family reference number or the student name clearly in the description for their payment.

Unfortunately we have someone making a regular payment to the college account that is not identifiable.  If you discover that you have made payments without a name, please contact the college with dates and amounts paid so that can credit your account.
