Adopting a holistic model of health and wellbeing that focuses on the physical, mental, emotional and social functioning of students, as a team we provide the following services:
In addition to the Wellbeing Team, Cranbourne Secondary College has a Learning Support Program which supports the learning of eligible students on the Program for Students with Disabilities (PSD) and the Language Support Program (LSP).
- Direct services including short term counselling and triage
- Risk assessment and crisis intervention;
- Evidence based group interventions;
- Case management to assist families in accessing external mental health care services when they do not have the capability to do so;
- Restorative practices;
- Health promotion and early intervention activities;
- Support of social-emotional learning activities
- Assistance with online applications for student uniforms through State School Relief.
Referrals to the Wellbeing Team can be made through Compass by Year Level Coordinators. Alternatively, students can complete a self-referral at the Wellbeing office in S4.
