As many of you are aware, last week we launched the KCEE parent dashboard. It was great to see so many of you at the Parent Briefing which clearly demonstrates your commitment to your children’s learning journey.
KCEE is a system that will streamline communication, collaboration and student learning throughout the Kilvington community. It combines all the aspects, and more, of the Parent Portal and SharePoint, in an easy to use, parent-friendly information environment.
Our KCEE journey began at Kilvington almost a year ago. A team of key staff members set out to select, shape and tailor a Learning Management System to meet Kilvington's student, teacher, parent and community needs in this ever evolving 21st century education environment.
In Term 4 2017, teachers received extensive professional learning on KCEE. We also worked with a team of parents to help us develop the parent dashboard – your gateway to a range of features that will provide an overview of your child’s progress, access to resources, and information about School news and events. In Term 1 2018, KCEE was rolled out to students. I am pleased to report that this has gone exceedingly smoothly.
Throughout 2018, the use and purpose of KCEE in the Junior and Senior Schools will differ in some areas. Please find the details outlined below:

Last week you were emailed your KCEE log-in details. Please contact IT on 9578 6231 if you need any assistance accessing KCEE. A KCEE Help Desk has been established until Friday 4 May and can be reached via the IT Department.
Attached is an information flyer to help you navigate the parent dashboard. You will also find a copy in KCEE Support on your parent dashboard.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the staff and parents who have assisted in the development of the KCEE parent dashboard and the system overall, in particular, our very talented Academic Dean of Technology and eLearning, Kirsty Watts. We look forward to providing a dynamic and streamlined communications environment to you and your family. |
We are very proud to announce that Steve Bustin, our Academic Dean of PE and Health, was awarded a long service medal in recognition of his 13 years of service to the Duke of Edinburgh scheme.
On Friday 6 April, HRH Prince Edward attended The Duke of Edinburgh’s Victorian Gold Award Ceremony, hosted by The Honourable Linda Dessau AC, Governor of Victoria, where he presented Gold Awards to 70 participants and recognised long serving volunteers.
Congratulations Steve on a wonderful achievement!
